Licensing

TX1:Trinity is licensed per user, per month, billed in Australian dollars. Every tier is the same Windows desktop application with the same local database; the tiers differ in which capabilities are unlocked and how many people can work on the same estimate.

Every tier starts with the same free 14-day trial — no credit card, and the full desktop application rather than a limited demonstration. Billed in Australian dollars. The trial period is 14 days; note that the EULA currently states 7 days, which is a known defect being corrected.

Reviewer's note: what is unresolved

This page is structurally complete and factually sound about what the software does. It is blocked on who gets what, for how much.

  1. Decide the real gating for the formula engine, overhead apportionment, custom columns and .tx1 export. The shipped code and the EULA say Enterprise; the live site sells them in Professional.
  2. Re-price the three tiers against that decision, then replace {{PRICE_TIER_1}}, {{PRICE_TIER_2}} and {{PRICE_TIER_3}}.
  3. Reconcile the EULA, including the 7-day versus 14-day trial defect.
  4. Confirm which Team and Enterprise capabilities actually ship. Anything that does not ship comes off the list or is labelled roadmap.
  5. Then remove the draft banner, this panel, the noindex, and every BLOCKED comment — and restore the offers block in the landing page's SoftwareApplication structured data.

What you get regardless of which plan you are on

The tiers do not split the product into a crippled version and a real one. Every licence is the same Windows desktop application, running the same local database, on the same release.

The full application

A WPF/.NET desktop build on EF Core and SQLite. No browser dependency, no degraded offline mode, no feature that stops working on a site laptop.

Your data on your machine

The estimate is a file on your disk. Commercially sensitive rates do not leave the building unless you choose to send them.

Carbon at no extra charge

Embodied-carbon accounting sits on the same objects as the cost in every tier. It is not an add-on module.

The single thing to take from this page: judge the tiers on what you can actually do with them after installation, which is exactly why the disputed rows above are marked rather than quietly resolved in the copy.

Common questions

Licensing questions

Do I need a credit card to try it?

No. The trial runs for 14 days and asks for a name, an email address and an organisation. Nothing is charged, and nothing is charged automatically at the end of it.

Is the trial a limited version?

It is the full Windows desktop application. You can build a real estimate in it, and the work you do during the trial stays in your local database afterwards.

What happens to my estimates if I stop paying?

The database is a file on your own machine and remains yours. Reopening and editing it requires a current licence, so export anything you need to hand on as a .tx1 package or a report before a licence lapses.

Can I move a licence between machines?

Yes. Licences are per named user rather than per device. Recover or reassign a licence through the licence recovery page.
